Jennifer Myers

Summary of Experience

Mrs. Myers has been in the employ of Applied Aquatic Management since 1997. Jennifer began her career at AAM assisting owners Paul & Linda Myers with all aspects of office work. From typing up proposals to taking out the trash, Jennifer has done it all. In 1999 Jennifer returned to school to earn her MBA, which she completed in 2001. Over the years Jennifer, alongside PJ, have nurtured the growth of AAM from a modest 18 employees to a sizable 50 employees by 2000 and 140 employees by 2010. Currently Jennifer serves as Chief Financial officer, overseeing all aspects of company finances while assisting with logistics and management of operations.

For the past 10 years, Jennifer has served as Treasurer of the Florida Aquatic Plant Management Society, an organization dedicated to the preservation of Florida’s aquatic heritage. In October 2009 Jennifer was the recipient of the FAPMS Presidential Award, given at the President’s discretion to society members in recognition of continued dedication. In addition to her service at FAPMS, Jennifer has also been involved with the Junior League of Greater Winter Haven, an exclusively educational and charitable organization, serving as president in 2010 through 2011. In 2013 Jennifer received the Spirit of the League Award for her continued service and actions that embody the mission of the Junior League.
